Kristin Shirahama served as a panelist for the Asbestos Workers Local 6 Union retirement planning seminar on April 20, 2013. Kristin's presentation highlighted estate planning issues particularly relevant to new retirees, as well as options for financing long-term care including a discussion of community and nursing home MassHealth (Medicaid) services. Kristin stated, "I enjoy the opportunity to give talks like this because people do not need to be intimidated by estate planning and much is to be gained from planning in advance of need, particularly when it comes to long-term care financing."
